White River Rural Health Center’s patients include those with insurance, those without insurance, and those with not enough insurance. White River Rural Health Center accepts private insurance and Medicare. White River Rural Health Center is dedicated to providing medical and dental services to the children and adults of Arkansas, regardless of their ability to pay. Although we are not a free clinic, we offer discounted fees on a sliding-scale based on your income. Our case management team can help link you to services, including Medicaid, ARKids, Medication Assistance Programs, and more.
Breast Care
White River Rural Health Center is committed to the prevention of breast cancer. Mammograms, clinical breast exams, and home breast examination are important for detecting breast cancer early. In some cases, breast cancer that is detected early is associated with the best outcomes. Regardless of your ability to pay, you can receive mammograms and breast care services with the support of Arkansas BreastCare and the Susan G. Komen Foundation. Dental Care
White River Rural Health Center is dedicated to your bright healthy smile. For good oral health, it is very important to have regular teeth cleaning and checkups by a dentist. If you cannot afford to go to the dentist and meet eligibility guidelines, you may qualify for discounted dental services at White River Rural Health Center. Our dentists have clinics located in Des Arc and Augusta, Arkansas.

Family Care
White River Rural Health Center participates in the Arkansas Department of Health Immunization Program and has merged with the local county health unit in Woodruff County to provide a seamless system of care. Services include the Special Supplemental Nutrition Program for Women, Infants, and Children (WIC), Early and Periodic Screening, Diagnostic, and Treatment (EPSDT) Services, perinatal care, family planning, and sexually transmitted disease clinics.

Prescription Medication
White River Rural Health Center Pharmacies are dedicated to meeting the needs of our community and patients. We offer discounted pricing to assist with the high cost of prescription medication. Patients that cannot afford to pay for prescription medication may be eligible to receive prescription medication through our Medication Assistance Program (MAP). If you find yourself or someone you know in need of medication assistance, please contact our MAP Unit in downtown Augusta at (870) 347-1230. Our case managers are eager to help you receive the prescription medication that you need.
